CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS COMPONENT SOP MANUAL - CHAPTER 5 CHAPTER 5 CASE COORDINATION The Unit Supervisor will have the authority to designate a primary investigator and assisting investigator(s) (as required), for each incident/investigation assigned to the Unit. This information will be entered into RMS (Report Management System) which tracks incidents/investigations by investigator, date, type of incident, department classification and disposition. Within each incident/investigation, this information is accessed via the “case management” tab.
