Coconut Creek Police Department

Policy Text
I. EOC MANAGEMENT II. DEBRIEFING AND REPORTING PURPOSE: The purpose of this procedure is to establish guidelines for the activation, operation, and deactivation of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). POLICY: Certain incidents by virtue of their size, complexity, or potential for rapid expansion require a secure, safe, and effective command position. Some incidents demand the use of an EOC from the onset, such as disturbances, hurricanes, acts of terrorism, or other planned, large-scale events such as demonstrations and special events. It is the policy of the Coconut Creek Police Department (CCPD) that key personnel are trained in the utilization of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) framework and operate EOC operations under this structure.
