I. CRIME STOPPERS
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this procedure is to establish guidelines for handling Crime Stoppers tips,
calls, or emails and dissemination of anonymous crime information received through the
Crime Stoppers program.
POLICY:
It is the policy of the Coconut Creek Police Department (CCPD) personnel to properly
evaluate and follow up on tips received from the public regarding criminal activity.
