II. CRIME PREVENTION AND
COMMUNITY SERVICES
RESPONSIBILITIES
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this procedure is to outline the duties and responsibilities of the Community
Services Unit (CSU) and provide guidance to the members of the Coconut Creek Police
Department (CCPD) on community-based programs related to prevention, resistance, and
suppression of crime.
POLICY:
CCPD employees are committed to establishing close ties with the community and
responding to community needs. CSU will assist the Police Department in maintaining a
positive relationship with residents, business owners, and visitors of the City.
