NUMBER: GO2406-01 13, DATE: June 2024 TO: All Police Personnel SUBJECT: Written Directives Bridging Document EFFECTIVE: June 20, 2024 This document serves to advise all personnel of the continuity of existing written directives within the police department. As of June 20, 2024, any and all agency written directives, including policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, signed or otherwise authorized by former Chief of Police Albert Arenal, shall remain in full force and effect. These directives will continue to guide agency operations until they are formally replaced, revised, or rescinded by Interim Chief of Police Fred Hofer. The transition in leadership should not disrupt the established operational guidelines of the agency. This bridging document ensures stability and continuity while any necessary reviews or updates to the directives are undertaken.
