TITLE: AGGRESSIVE DRIVING UNIT (ADU)
PURPOSE: The purpose of this directive is to establish guidelines and procedures for
the Aggressive Driving Unit (ADU).
SCOPE: This directive is applicable to all investigators assigned to the Aggressive Driving
Unit (ADU).
POLICY: It is the policy of the City of Doral Police Department to proactively enforce
traffic laws in order to reduce aggressive driving, prevent crashes, and enhance traffic
safety in the community. The Aggressive Driving Unit (ADU) shall use data-driven and
evidence-based strategies to identify problem areas and target enforcement efforts. All
enforcement actions shall be conducted in a fair, impartial, and professional manner in
accordance with Department policies and applicable laws.
