TITLE: MOTORCYCLE UNIT
PURPOSE: The purpose of this directive is to establish guidelines and procedures for the
operation and deployment of the Department’ s Motorcycle Unit.
SCOPE: This directive is applicable to all assigned to the Department’s Motorcycle Unit.
POLICY: It is the policy of the City of Doral Police Department to uphold the highest standards
of professionalism and safety in the operation of the Motorcycle Unit. Motorcycle Officers are
tasked with the responsibilities of conducting traffic enforcement, investigating traffic crashes,
providing dignitary escorts, and other such services as may be necessary.
