I. POLICY
Accountability for the storage and disposition of property and evidence taken into
custody is the responsibility of the Department’s designated Property Custodian
who reports directly to the supervisor of the Crime Scene/Property Units.
Oversight of the Property and Evidence function is the responsibility of the
Specialized Services Division Commander or designee.
