I. POLICY
It is the policy of the Aventura Police Department to operate and maintain
detention cells for the temporary detention of detainees for fingerprinting,
photographing, interviewing, interrogating, and preparing the detainee for release
or transportation to a secure facility. All processing or testing of detainees will
