POLICY :
When logging onto their radios with Palo Alto Communications at the start of their shifts,
deputies shall use their call signs and beat nu mbers.
PROCEDURE
A. When logging onto their radios with Palo Alto Communications at the start of their shifts,
deputies shall:
1. Advise of their call sign, beat nu mber, and the fact that they are logging on;
2. Wait for confir mation that the deputy is in service (10 -8).
B. The same procedure will be followed with two-person units, with both deputies’ call
signs nu mbers given.
