Sec. 1071.259. REGISTRATION OF OUT-OF-STATE SURVEYORS. (a) The board may waive any registration requirement for an applicant who holds a license from another state having registration or licensing requirements substantially equivalent to the registration requirements of this state. (b) The board may issue a certificate of registration as a registered professional land surveyor to an applicant under this section who meets all waived and unwaived registration requirements and who: (1) applies to the board for a certificate of registration; (2) pays a fee set by the board; and (3) passes an examination on Texas surveying.
