Sec. 145.093. AUTHORITY WITH WHOM WITHDRAWAL REQUEST FILED. (a) A candidate must file a withdrawal request with the authority with whom applications for a place on the ballot are required to be filed. (b) If the authority with whom applications for a place on the ballot are required to be filed is not responsible for having the official ballot prepared for the election, on the filing of a withdrawal request, the authority shall certify the candidate's name in writing as a withdrawn candidate and promptly deliver the certification to the authority responsible for having the official ballot prepared.
