Sec. 1001.211. ISSUANCE AND FORM OF LICENSE. (a) The executive director shall issue a license to an applicant for a license under this subchapter if: (1) the application is submitted in accordance with this subchapter; and (2) the applicant meets the requirements of this chapter. (b) A license must be in a form determined by the department and must show in a clear and conspicuous manner: (1) the date of issuance, effective date, and term of the license; (2) the name and address of the driver training provider; (3) the authority for and conditions of approval; and (4) any other fair and reasonable representation that is consistent with this chapter and that the department considers necessary. (c) An applicant may obtain both a driver education provider license and a driving safety provider license. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1276, Sec. 6.012(a), eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
