Explicación Simple

Si ves que alguien mayor o con discapacidad está siendo lastimado o descuidado, hay un proceso para reportarlo. Necesitas dar información sobre la persona afectada y sobre quién hace el reporte.

Es como cuando ves a un amigo ser acosado en la escuela y decides contarle a un maestro para que lo ayude. La ley quiere que se informe sobre el abuso para proteger a quienes no pueden hacerlo por sí mismos.

Imagina que María, una cuidadora, se da cuenta de que su vecino, el señor Pérez, de 80 años, no está recibiendo la atención adecuada y parece estar sufriendo. María decide llamar a las autoridades para reportar la situación, proporcionando su nombre y contacto, así como la información del señor Pérez y sus problemas.
