Explicación Simple

Si alguien pierde información importante, como tu dirección o número de teléfono, debe avisarte. Esta ley dice que si una empresa tiene una forma de notificarte sobre eso, y sigue ciertas reglas, está haciendo las cosas bien.

Es como cuando un amigo se da cuenta de que ha perdido tu número de teléfono. Si tiene un plan para avisarte y lo hace rápido, está siendo un buen amigo.

Imagina que la tienda 'Ropa Bonita' de Ana tiene un problema en su sistema y pierde datos de sus clientes. Si Ana tiene un plan que dice cómo avisar a sus clientes sobre esto y lo hace a tiempo, está cumpliendo con la ley.
