Explicación Simple

Esta ley dice que no puedes ofrecer dinero o regalos a alguien para que te dé un puesto en el gobierno o te ayude con su trabajo. Si lo haces, puedes meterte en problemas y recibir un castigo.

Es como cuando en una competencia de deportes, un jugador intenta sobornar al árbitro para que ignore una falta. Eso no es justo y puede llevar a que el jugador sea expulsado del juego.

Imagina que Juan quiere que su amigo Carlos, que es funcionario público, lo ayude a conseguir un contrato para su empresa. Juan le ofrece un regalo caro a Carlos a cambio de su ayuda. Si Carlos acepta, ambos podrían enfrentar problemas legales por soborno.
