Explicación Simple

Cuando una empresa tiene varios vehículos, necesita renovar su registro cada año. Si un vehículo ya no se usa, debe seguir un proceso para quitarlo del registro.

Es como si tuvieras un grupo de amigos que siempre van al cine juntos. Si uno decide que ya no va, necesitas avisar al grupo para que no lo incluyan en las próximas salidas.

Imagina que la empresa de Juan tiene cinco camionetas registradas. Al llegar la fecha de renovación, se da cuenta de que una camioneta ya no se usa. Juan debe devolver la tarjeta de registro de la flota y la placa de esa camioneta para eliminarla del registro y evitar pagar por ella.

SECTION 56-3-1050. Renewal of fleet registration; deletion of vehicle from fleet. Upon renewal of the fleet registration, the Department of Motor Vehicles shall require payment of full licensing fees for every vehicle registered in this preceding year unless the vehicle has been properly deleted from the fleet. To delete a vehicle from the fleet, the fleet registration card and the fleet license plate must be surrendered to the department. If the card or license plate is lost or stolen, the person registering the fleet shall submit a sworn statement giving the circumstances for the inability to surrender the card or license plate.
