Explicación Simple

Cuando se confiscan bienes, el dinero que se obtiene se reparte. El 25% va al estado, otro 25% a la oficina del fiscal y el 50% al fondo del condado. Si la confiscación viene de una ciudad, también recibe su parte.

Es como cuando en una fiesta, si vendes entradas, decides repartir el dinero: una parte para la organización, otra para los anfitriones y el resto para comprar más comida y bebida.

SECTION 17-15-260. Disposition of funds collected pursuant to chapter. The funds collected pursuant to this chapter must be remitted in the following manner: twenty-five percent to the general fund of the State, twenty-five percent to the solicitor's office in the county in which the forfeiture is ordered, and fifty percent to the county general fund of the county in which the forfeiture is ordered. However, if the case in which forfeiture is ordered is originated by a municipality, the funds collected pursuant to this chapter must be remitted in the following manner: twenty-five percent to the general fund of the State, twenty-five percent to the solicitor's office in the county in which the forfeiture is ordered, and twenty-five percent to the county general fund of the county in which the forfeiture is ordered and twenty-five percent to the municipality.
