Si un conductor con licencia comercial de otro estado comete una infracción, Pennsylvania le avisará a su estado. Esto asegura que todos los estados estén al tanto de problemas de manejo importantes.

Imagina que Carlos, un camionero de Nueva York, recibe una multa por exceso de velocidad mientras maneja su camión en Pennsylvania. El departamento de tránsito de Pennsylvania informará a Nueva York sobre la multa para que los responsables de licencias allí sepan lo que ocurrió.

75 Pa.C.S. 2005 - Amendment § 1614. Notification of traffic convictions. After receiving a report of the conviction of any holder of a commercial driver's license issued by another state, or any person who is a holder of a driver's license issued by another state and who was operating a commercial motor vehicle at the time of the violation, for violation of this chapter or Chapter 15 (relating to licensing of drivers), 17 (relating to financial responsibility), 31 (relating to general provisions), 33 (relating to rules of the road in general) or 37 (relating to miscellaneous provisions) committed in a commercial motor vehicle, the department shall notify the driver licensing authority in the licensing state of the conviction. (July 5, 2005, P.L.100, No.37) 2005 Amendment. Section 10(2) of Act 37 provided that Act 37 shall take effect 90 days after publication of a notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. The notice was published July 16, 2005, at 35 Pa.B. 4029. 75 Pa.C.S. 1615 - Authority To Enter Agreements The department may enter into or make agreements, arrangements or declarations to carry out the provisions of this chapter. 75 Pa.C.S. 1616 - Reciprocity Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a person may drive a commercial motor vehicle if the person has a commercial driver's license issued by any state, or any province or territory of Canada in accordance with the minimum Federal standards for the issuance of commercial motor vehicle drivers' licenses, if the person's operating privilege is not suspended, revoked or canceled and if the person is not disqualified from driving a commercial motor vehicle or subject to an out-of-service order.
