75 Pa.C.S. 1998 - Amendment § 6503.1. Habitual offenders. A habitual offender under section 1542 (relating to revocation of habitual offender's license) who drives a motor vehicle on any highway or trafficway of this Commonwealth while the habitual offender's operating privilege is suspended, revoked or canceled commits a misdemeanor of the second degree. Act 151 added section 6503.1. 75 Pa.C.S. 6504 - Inability To Pay Fine And Costs (a) Order for installment payments.--Upon plea and proof that a person is unable to pay any fine and costs imposed under this title, a court may, in accordance with 42 Pa.C.S. § 9758 (relating to fine), order payment of the fine and costs in installments and shall fix the amounts, times and manner of payment. (b) Imprisonment for nonpayment.--Any person who does not comply with an order entered under this section may be imprisoned for a number of days equal to one day for each $40 of the unpaid balance of the fine and costs.
