Obtención de documentos mediante engaño

Explicación Simple

Si alguien engaña a otra persona para que firme un documento que le causa problemas o le da ventajas a él, eso es un delito. Es como hacer trampa para conseguir algo que no te pertenece.

Es como cuando un niño le dice a su amigo que tiene un juguete nuevo si le presta su videojuego. El amigo se siente engañado porque el niño solo quería el videojuego sin tener el juguete.

Ejemplo Práctico

Imagina que Juan le dice a Marta que necesita su firma para un préstamo, prometiendo que el dinero será para ayudar a su familia. Sin embargo, Juan usa esa firma para obtener un préstamo que gastará en cosas personales. Esto es obtener un documento por engaño.

Penalidades

Obtener documentos por engaño es un delito menor de Clase A.

ORS 165.102 Obtaining execution of documents by deception ORS 165.102 Obtaining execution of documents by deception Text Annotations   1 (1) A person commits the crime of obtaining execution of documents by deception if, with intent to defraud or injure another or to acquire a substantial benefit, the person obtains by means of fraud, deceit or subterfuge the execution of a written instrument affecting or purporting to affect the pecuniary interest of any person. (2) Obtaining execution of documents by deception is a Class A misdemeanor.
