Es como cuando un estudiante quiere pasar de año y pide a sus maestros que revisen su desempeño. Si demuestran que han mejorado, pueden obtener una nueva oportunidad para avanzar.
Carlos está en prisión y cree que ha cambiado. Pide una audiencia para que revisen su situación. No tiene dinero para un abogado, pero el consejo de prisión le asigna uno. Después de escuchar su historia, deciden que merece una nueva oportunidad y le permiten salir bajo supervisión.

Tienes el derecho a ser representado por un abogado asignado por el consejo si no puedes pagar uno. También puedes solicitar pruebas que apoyen tu caso.
