Obtención de registros médicos en procedimientos judiciales

Si alguien necesita ver tus registros médicos para un juicio, pueden hacerlo con un documento especial llamado subpoena. Estos registros solo se envían al tribunal o a un jurado, no a cualquiera.

Es como cuando un maestro pide ver tu cuaderno de tareas para asegurarse de que hiciste el trabajo. Solo el maestro puede ver esa información, no tus compañeros.

Imagina que Ana está involucrada en un caso legal después de un accidente. El abogado de la parte contraria quiere ver sus registros médicos para entender su estado de salud. Usan un subpoena para pedir esos registros, que deben ser enviados directamente al tribunal y no a nadie más.

ORS 136.447 Medical records ORS 136.447 Medical records Text Annotations Medical records may be obtained by subpoena as provided in ORCP 55 H and shall be sent only to the court or the clerk of the court before which the matter is pending. In relation to grand jury proceedings, notice need not be given as required in ORCP 55 H and the medical records shall be sent only to the grand jury.
