Si alguien te hace creer que te va a hacer daño a ti o a tu familia, eso se llama amenaza agravada. Es ilegal y puede traer consecuencias serias para la persona que lo hace.

Es como cuando un compañero de clase te grita que te va a golpear si no le das tu almuerzo. Aunque no te toque, te hace sentir miedo y eso no está bien.

Ejemplo Práctico

Imagina que Juan le dice a su vecino que va a quemar su casa porque está molesto por un árbol que está en su jardín. El vecino se asusta y teme por su hogar y su familia. En este caso, Juan podría ser acusado de amenaza agravada.

Penalidades

La persona culpable de amenaza agravada puede ser condenada a penas de cárcel o multas.

In addition to any other basis for the other person's belief that the offender will cause serious physical harm to the person or property of the other person, the other person's unborn, or a member of the other person's immediate family, the other person's belief may be based on words or conduct of the offender that are directed at or identify a corporation, association, or other organization that employs the other person or to which the other person belongs. (B) Whoever violates this section is guilty of aggravated menacing.
