Esta ley dice que no puedes demandar a alguien por romper una relación amorosa o por promesas de matrimonio no cumplidas. Si alguien te lastima en ese sentido, no puedes reclamar dinero en la corte.

Es como si un amigo prometiera ayudarte a hacer un proyecto y luego no lo hiciera. Aunque te sientas decepcionado, no puedes exigirle que te devuelva algo a cambio.

2A:23-1. Rights of action abolished The rights of action formerly existing to recover sums of money as damage for the alienation of affections, criminal conversation, seduction or breach of contract to marry are abolished from and after June 27, 1935. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344. 2A:23-2.
