Explicación Simple

Cuando un juez toma una decisión, esa decisión se convierte en una sentencia. Si alguien quiere transferir esa sentencia a otra persona, necesita hacerlo por escrito y seguir ciertas reglas.

court A judgment duly docketed in the superior court shall, from the time it is docketed, operate as a judgment obtained in the superior court. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344. 2A:16-41. Requisites of assignment to entitle it to record An assignment of a judgment, to be entitled to record, shall be in writing, and acknowledged or proved as conveyances of real estate are required to be acknowledged or proved for the purposes of recording.
