Explicación Simple

Si alguien ve que un niño está siendo lastimado o explotado, puede avisar a la policía. Aunque no esté obligado a hacerlo, su reporte ayudará a proteger al niño y será tratado como un reporte oficial.

Es como si vieras a un niño en peligro en la calle y decides llamar a la policía. Tu llamada es importante y puede ayudar a que el niño esté a salvo.

Imagina que Ana, una maestra, se da cuenta de que un estudiante, Juan, llega a clase con moretones y parece asustado. Ana informa a la policía sobre sus sospechas, aunque no está obligada a hacerlo. Gracias a su reporte, las autoridades pueden investigar y asegurarse de que Juan esté protegido.

deemed report of abuse or neglect of child made pursuant NRS202.894Report deemed report of abuse or neglect of child made pursuant toNRS 432B.220or report of commercial sexual exploitation of child made pursuant toNRS 432C.110.If a person reports to a law enforcement agency that another person has committed a violent or sexual offense against a child, whether or not the person is required to make such a report pursuant toNRS 202.882, and the violent or sexual offense against the child would constitute abuse or neglect of a child, as defined inNRS 432B.020, or the commercial sexual exploitation, as defined inNRS 432C.050, of a child, the report made by the person shall be deemed to be a report of the abuse or neglect of the child that has been made pursuant toNRS 432B.220or a report of the commercial sexual exploitation of a child that has been made pursuant toNRS 432C.110, as applicable, and: 1.  The appropriate agencies shall act upon the report pursuant tochapter 432Bor432Cof NRS, as applicable; and 2.  The report may be used in the same manner as other reports that are made pursuant toNRS 432B.220or432C.110.
