Regulación sobre el uso de cebos letales en espacios públicos

Explicación Simple

No puedes poner cebos peligrosos en lugares públicos, especialmente cerca de casas. Si lo haces, podrías tener problemas con la ley. También, nadie puede quitar esos cebos sin permiso.

Es como si estuvieras cocinando y decides dejar un plato caliente en la mesa sin avisar a nadie; alguien podría quemarse si no sabe que hay peligro.

Ejemplo Práctico

Imagina que Juan vive cerca de un parque y decide colocar cebos para ratas en un área pública, a solo dos millas de su casa. Esto es ilegal y podría recibir una multa. Además, si su amigo Pedro quita esos cebos sin permiso, también estaría infringiendo la ley.

Penalidades

Las violaciones son consideradas delitos menores.

NRS202.550Placing of lethal bait on public domain. 1.  It is unlawful for any person to place any lethal bait on the public domain: (a) Within 3 miles of any place of habitation, whether occupied or vacant; or (b) At any other place unless it is marked by a steel or wooden post extending not less than 4 feet above the ground, having the uppermost 8 inches painted red and bearing a suitable sign advising of the presence of lethal bait. The post must be installed in the immediate vicinity of the bait, and the post and sign must be maintained at all times during which the lethal bait is exposed; or (c) At any place by distribution from an airplane except upon written permit first obtained from the Committee to Control Predatory Animals. 2.  Any person violating any provision of subsection 1 is guilty of a misdemeanor. 3.  Every person other than the person who placed the bait, post or sign, who willfully removes any lethal bait, or post or sign advising of the presence of any lethal bait, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
