Si una casa está causando problemas en el vecindario, un juez puede ordenar que se vendan cosas de esa casa para solucionar el problema. También puede permitir que alguien use parte de la casa hasta que se venda.

Es como cuando en una fiesta hay un desorden tan grande que los dueños deciden vender algunas cosas para limpiar y arreglar el lugar antes de que vuelva a llegar la gente.

Imagina que Juan tiene un bar que causa muchos ruidos y problemas en su vecindario. El juez decide que se vendan las mesas y sillas del bar para ayudar a pagar los costos de limpieza y evitar más molestias mientras se soluciona el problema.

The order of abatement may direct the removal of movable property used in conducting or maintaining the nuisance and direct the sale of property belonging to a respondent who was notified or appeared. The sale shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions of chapter 550 on the sale of property on execution. A person appointed by the court as receiver of the building may use a building or portion of it which is the subject of an abatement order in a manner approved by the court. Costs of the sale on execution, moving and storage fees, and any receivership must be paid out of the receipts from the sale of the movable property or any rents collected during the receivership. The balance from the sale of movable property must be paid to the owner of the property.
