MCL 257.29 - “Maximum axle load” defined Sec. 29. “Maximum axle load” means the gross weight over the axle which includes vehicles and load. MCL 257.30 - “Metal tire” defined Sec. 30. “Metal tire” means every tire the surface of which in contact with the highway is wholly or partly of metal or other hard, non-resilient material.
