Esta ley explica cómo se puede arrestar a alguien si hay pruebas de que hizo algo malo. Si alguien está detenido, un juez puede decidir rápidamente si hay razones para mantenerlo bajo arresto.

(6) A warrant may be issued under this section only upon compliance with the requirements of section 1 of this chapter. (7) As used in this section: (a) "Dating relationship" means frequent, intimate associations primarily characterized by the expectation of affectional involvement. Dating relationship does not include a casual relationship or an ordinary fraternization between 2 individuals in a business or social context. (b) "Vulnerable adult" means that term as defined in section 145m of the Michigan penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.145m.
