Code Commission notes. - Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2001, a comma was inserted following "motorcycles" in the second sentence in paragraph (a)(1) and in the first sentence in paragraph (a)(2). Editor's notes. - Ga. L. 1995, p. 809, § 22, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: "Any local law enacted pursuant to Code Section 40-2-21, which is in conflict with the provisions of this Act shall stand repealed on the effective date of this Act." The act became effective January 1, 1997. Ga. L. 1996, p. 1118, § 18, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: "Those parts of Act No. 385, Ga.
