Explicación Simple

Cuando alguien comete un delito, se hace un informe que habla de cómo ese delito afectó a la víctima. Este informe incluye cosas como si la víctima necesita ayuda psicológica o cómo se siente su familia después del incidente.

Es como cuando un niño rompe un juguete de su amigo; el informe sería como hablar sobre cómo se siente el amigo y si necesita un nuevo juguete o ayuda para superarlo.

Imagina que Juan roba la bicicleta de Pedro. Cuando se prepara el informe para el tribunal, se menciona que Pedro está triste y asustado, y que su familia ha tenido que hablar con un consejero porque se siente inseguro en su vecindario. También se evalúa si Juan puede pagar la reparación de la bicicleta.

nced to the Department of Corrections, he or she may be eligible for release, to await parole in a community corrections facility, if such release is approved by the local community corrections board.
