Si no tienes un número de seguro social, no tienes que poner uno en tu solicitud en el tribunal. Además, los tribunales guardan información sobre los números de seguro social de las familias, pero no la muestran abiertamente en los documentos.

Es como cuando tienes una libreta para anotar las tareas de la casa, pero decides no escribir el nombre de tu hermano porque él no quiere que se sepa qué hace. Tú mantienes la información guardada, pero no la exhibes.

María está en medio de un proceso de divorcio y no tiene un número de seguro social. Cuando presenta su solicitud al tribunal, no le piden que incluya un número. licant does not have a social security number, such applicant shall not be required to provide a social security number on his or her application as required in subparagraph (I) of this paragraph (a). (b) The judicial department shall maintain records of the parties’ and children’s social security numbers in family matters filed under articles 10 and 14 of this title, articles 4 and 6 of title 19, C.R.S., and article 13.5 of title 26 , C.R.S. Nothing in this paragraph (b) shall require that a person’s social security number appear on the face of the court order. (c) All death certificates issued pursuant to section 25-2-110 , C.R.S., shall identify the decedent’s social security number, if available. (2) Intentionally left blank —Ed.
