Explicación Simple

Esta ley dice que está mal engañar o atraer a un menor de 18 años para hacer cosas ilegales, como la prostitución. Si alguien ayuda a hacer esto o usa trucos para que esto pase, también está rompiendo la ley.

Es como si alguien te invitara a una fiesta, pero en realidad solo quiere que hagas algo que no deberías, como vender dulces en lugar de compartirlos.

Ejemplo Práctico

Imagina que Juan, un chico de 17 años, conoce a alguien que le dice que puede ganar dinero fácil en un club. Esa persona lo lleva a un lugar donde se hacen cosas ilegales. Según la ley, la persona que llevó a Juan y la que lo convenció están cometiendo un delito.

Rape, Abduction, Carnal Abuse of Children, and Seduction [261 - 269] ( Chapter 1 enacted 1872. ) 266. A person who inveigles or entices a person under 18 years of age into a house of ill fame, or of assignation, or elsewhere, for the purpose of prostitution, or to have illicit carnal connection with another person, and a person who aids or assists in that inveiglement or enticement, and a person who, by any false pretenses, false representation, or other fraudulent means, procures a person to have illicit carnal connection with another person, is punishable by imprisonment in the state prison, or by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars ($2,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.
